From a distance the marquetry surface dissolves into a shimmer of subtle shades. Moving closer, intricate shapes and the interplay of the grain is revealed. The Marquetry is made up of over 7,500 hand-cut pieces. The Cabinet taking just over 2,400 hours to complete. (One year's work) |
