"Oak in Time"

 

"Oak in Time", made from timbers of three English oaks that span the centuries.

Tatton Oak Grown during the 19th & 20th centuries. First planted as an acorn in the 1830's and grown in parkland at Tatton Park, Cheshire. Cut down in 1998 to be the inspiration of the internationally renowned "onetree" exhibition.

 

Brown Burr Oak Grown during the 14th & 15th Centuries.

 

Prehistoric Bog Oak Five to ten thousand years old.
