Veneered in satinwood and draped with neo-classical marquetry motifs on the curved tops and sides. Pressure points in the crossbanding release and open doors to reveal the interior of six bow-fronted drawers made from solid ebony and veneered in Rio rosewood. The dovetails at the corners of each drawer are outlined in fine boxwood stringing.
