Veneered in selected English walnut on a ground of
solid English oak. Using 12 different woods in the marquetry, depicting
acanthus scrolls and flowers that represent a style dating back to the
late 17
th
century.
The movement is eight day striking and is made by
Wardle & Lowe Derbyshire, the dial is elegantly embellished with fine
cast spandrels and hand engraving.
